Here you’ll find answers to our most common questions about shipping, availability, and ordering within Ecuador.  

How is shipping handled?

All Ecuador shipments are sent exclusively via Servientrega, ensuring secure delivery, tracking, and reliable service.

U.S. orders are shipped via UPS or USPS and all international orders are shipped via UPS or Specific country courriers.

International customers are responsible for all duty and taxes associated with the importation of merchandise.

Sant Laia is not responsible for items that are lost or stolen while in transit. If you would like a signature requirement to be added your shipment, please email us at hello@santlaia.com
What are the delivery times?

Orders within Ecuador typically arrive 5–7 business days after dispatch.

  • During high-demand periods, delivery times may be extended due to courier delays.
  • Immediate shipping applies only to the two products in the Uti x Sant Laia collection.
  • All other products include a separate shipping fee and have an estimated 3-week delivery time.
How much does shipping cost?
  • We offer a flat shipping rate of $7.50 to any city or province in Ecuador.

This fee also covers part of the import cost from the United States, so it applies even for local pick-up orders.

  • For orders in the US we offer a flat shipping rate of $9.5. Additionally, you can request a US express shipping for $25.
  • Worldwide shipments are sent exclusively via DHL, ensuring secure delivery, tracking, and reliable service. Fees are calculated during checkout.
  • Free Shipping is offered for orders over $500 in US only.
Do you offer same-day delivery?

Not at this time. Same-day delivery is currently unavailable.
Can I pick up my order in person? (Pick-up)

Yes — for US orders only: pick-up is available in SantLaia's Miami store at 4784 sw 72nd Ave. Miami, FL. 33155
What happens if an item is sold out?

Our pieces are a limited-time special drops.

Once it sells out, it will not be restocked — making each piece truly unique and collectible.

Enjoy shopping from anywhere in the world. International shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout and include duties and taxes for your country, so there are no surprises! You can choose your preferred carrier—DHL, UPS, or USPS—with rates and estimated delivery times shown at checkout for your convenience.

Please note: Sant Laia is not responsible for shipping delays, and delivery times may take up to 20 business days depending on the destination country.

All international orders ship within 1-2 days from the day the order was placed, excluding holidays and weekends. 

We also offer an economy international flat rate with Liberty Express for the following countries:

All Economy International Flar Rate orders take from 6-15 business days from the moment they are shipped from our warehouse in Miami. Duties and taxes are included in this flat rate price.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING - CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES

Domestic shipping time varies. We take 1-2 business days for an order to ship from our warehouse. These times may vary depending on high seasons like a launch of a new collection, sales or promotions. The times for an order to be shipped vary from 2-5 business days during high season.

We offer free domestic shipping on all orders over $180 except during sales which is $300.

Jewelry Care

SANT LAIA jewels are a timeless investment. Caring for your pieces will help ensure its beauty, luster and longevity. Here are some helpful tips from us on how to care for and maintain your SANT LAIA jewelry (it's veeeery easy!):

  • Brightness preservation
    All SANT LAIA jewelry is treated with an anti-tarnish coating to help protect against tarnishing, yet it is still important for you to follow our care instructions. Your jewelry can tarnish over time when exposed to the open air. Tarnishing is a natural process that can be cleaned.
    We recommend that customers remove jewelry before going to bed or participating in physical activity. Exposure to certain harsh chemicals or environments will result in compromising the integrity of your jewelry. This includes, but is not limited to the following: perspiration, perfumes, cleaning agents, chlorine, saltwater, and silver polish.

 

  • Cleaning your jewelry
    Pour a small amount of mild soap into lukewarm water and use a small, soft toothbrush to clean your jewelry. Toothbrushes are ideal for cleaning jewelry with intricate details, which can otherwise be difficult to clean. If the dirt is hard to remove, soak the jewelry in clean water. IMPORTANT: Gold plated jewelry requires more care. Using your toothbrush very intensely may cause the gold plating to fade away, therefore it is very important that you do this process very carefully to avoid the gold plating from wearing away.
    If your sterling silver jewelry has become dull, a silver-polishing cloth is a great tool to make it shine again. However, it will not remove scratches.

 

  • How to store your jewelry
    SANT LAIA Jewelry should be stored away from direct sunlight and heat, in a protective (lined) jewelry box or a tarnish-resistant pouch like the one we provide with every purchase. It can also be stored in a plastic zip lock bag made of polyethylene. Never use polyvinyl plastic bags, such as trash can liners, as they contain sulphur compounds, or rubber containers which will make sterling silver tarnish faster and possibly turn black. Do not store your jewelry in the bathroom or any other humid places.
    Please note that our SANT LAIA boxes are not made for long-term storage as they are not airtight and tarnishing will occur over time.

 

  • Important note
    SANT LAIA does not guarantee that its gold-plated jewelry will last forever. Gold plated pieces are, by default, more fragile and liable to lose their color over time. The speed at which the gold plating fades will depend on multiple variables from chemical products used for skincare, level of perspiration or even your natural skin PH. For this reason, it is particularly important to take special care of your gold-plated jewelry.

Free Domestic Returns

IN WHICH CASES CAN I EXCHANGE OR RETURN AN ITEM?

If you're not happy with your item, ordered a big size or simply need to exchange it, you can request a return!

  • The request for a return must be made to hello@santlaia.com and must include your order number. 
  • Must be made within 7 days of the delivery date of the package
  • The item must include the tag

In any case, the products that will be exchanged or returned must have the tag the item comes with and be in pristine conditions, show no evident signs of being used, or else no exchange or return will be carried out. It is your responsibility to provide adequate packaging to make sure that the items arrive to SANT LAIA in perfect conditions. If you have trouble finding a suitable packaging, we suggest using the original box that your order came in. If the items are received in poor conditions, we won’t be able to carry out the return as requested. 

The time window in which you can exchange or return an item lasts 7 days, starting from the day the order is delivered.

To place a return or exchange please email us stating the order number and reason for return or exchange to hello@santlaia.com.

USA: Returns and exchanges within the USA will be made through USPS. Order receipt must be inside package when making a return or an exchange.

After the package arrives to our facilities, you will receive a confirmation email, informing you that the return or exchange was accepted, and the amount will be sent to your account in about 2-3 business days. You will receive the amount in the same way you made your purchase, through a refund processed by PayPal or a return in your credit card.

SANT LAIA won’t be held responsible for any misplaced packages, and it will be the client’s responsibility to make sure the package arrives to our facilities in perfect conditions.
